We love our new home…it really is like a completely different house! It is everything that we dreamed of…and more. What was great about Adam was that he came and looked at the house (when we were at the initial design stage), he had a really excellent, creative vision about what our new home could look like.
When you have builders working on site every day it really important that everyone gets on; this was easy to do with Definitive. Adam really kept to his time schedule and it was always very clear as to how much each stage of the build would cost. Timings and costings were consistent throughout the project.
We had a house before whereas now we have a home that has been designed around our families needs. Our highlights are the large open plan kitchen-living space that is perfect for family life as well as having friends and family to stay and two spacious teenage bedrooms with a shared en suite. I always had the mindset that if I was spending a large amount of money…then I may as well enjoy the process! And I did! I am just wondering what I can do next…so that Definitive can come back!

At every stage of our renovation build, Adam and his team were professional, providing invaluable support from the initial design concept, through to the planning, creating a temporary kitchen and right up to the finished amazing renovation build.
Adam is extremely thorough and has great attention to detail, even suggesting improvements throughout the build. For example the creation of the temporary kitchen and walls meant we could continue to function (cook etc) whilst the work went on behind the temporary walls. No dust etc etc. Totally hassle and stress free. I could see this was very important to Adam. It was way above our expectations. The build was finished on time and on budget. And Adam and his team became part of the family during the build!

Adam and his amazing team have completed the re model of our Annex/Cottage.
What a pleasure it’s been working with them. So professional, they turn up when they say they are going to, kept the site clean and tidy, came up with amazing design ideas and everything and I mean everything was finished to a top standard.
3 years after a full build / remodel on our actual house, I wasn’t sure I could deal with the hassle of the annex. But there literally was none. Clear invoicing, amazing communication, and excellence all round.
I just wish I’d know about Adam when I did the house!

So it is now one month since the Definitive Construction crew finished our project; over 5 months of work finished in time for us to get used to it before Christmas. It has revolutionised how we use the house.
It was a long and detailed project:
- Demolition of the two extensions, The creation of the fully functioning temporary kitchen, The building and fitting of the new kitchen and utility extensions, The garden landscaping, and finally, the remodelling of the dining and playrooms.
During this time I cannot compliment the team strongly enough. The quality and attention to detail of work, proactive problem solving, listening to our views and needs, and respecting our space and privacy during the build was outstanding. These values also extended through Adam’s choice of subcontractors for plumbing, and in particular, electrics. I would strongly recommend Definitive.
A big thank you to Adam, Colby, Nathan, Ed and Katie (back at mission control). It was a pleasure working with you. Thanks a bunch, guys. I am missing the sweet sound of 90s tunes accompanying the drone of power tools when working from home!

We had some work done last year by Adam and his team and it was top notch!
All aspects of the job were carried out in a highly professional standard and manner.
The communication around timings was excellent as was any flexibility requested by us.
We even added a couple of other jobs into the mix and Adam was brilliant in being able to accommodate this for us.
